Create the Quick Service tags to control access to the application. The number of tags required depends on your business need. The following section outlines the creation of an admin tag. Repeat the procedure to add tags for as many user roles as needed.
Note: BlueCat recommends that you create at least the following tags:
- (Mandatory) admin—A user must be tagged as admin in both Address Manager and Quick Service applications.
- normal/all—For standard users of the Quick Service application.
- limited/restricted—For users to perform normal operations in the Quick Service application but on a limited set of entities.
- readonly—For users to have only read privileges.
- Select the Groups tab.
- Under Tag Groups, select quick-service.
- Under Tags, click +.
- Under Name, enter admin.
- Under Description, add a meaningful description. For example, Admin Role tag for Quick Service.
- Leave the Landing page field empty.
- Under Restricted, leave the value as [].
- Under Access Type, enter Read-Write.
- Under Change Control, add comments to describe your changes.
- Click Add.
