Creating the Tag UDFs - Adaptive Applications - BlueCat Gateway - 24.4

Within Address Manager, you must create Tag UDFs to interact with the Quick Service workflows.

  1. Select the Administration tab.
  2. Under Data Management, click Object Types.
  3. Click the Tags object type and select Tag.
  4. Under Fields, click New > User-Defined Field.
  5. Under General, set the following parameters:
    • Name: Type description.

    • Display Name: Type Description, then click Add. The display name appears below the text field.

    • Type: Select Text.

    • Hide From Search: Leave blank.

    • Require Value: Leave blank.

  6. Under Pre-Defined Values, leave all fields and options blank.
  7. Under Advanced, leave the Validation Properties field blank.
  8. Under Change Control, add comments to describe your changes.
  9. Click Add.
  10. Repeat steps 5 to 10 to create the following additional tags:
    • Landing page UDF
      • Name: Type landing_page.

      • Display Name: Type Landing Page, then click Add. The display name appears below the text field.

      • Type: Select Text.

      • Hide From Search: Leave blank.

      • Require Value: Leave blank.

    • Restricted UDF
      • Name: Type restricted.

      • Display Name: Type Restricted, then click Add. The display name appears below the text field.

      • Type: Select Text.

      • Hide From Search: Leave blank.

      • Require Value: Leave blank.

      Under Pre-Defined Values, enter []

    • Access Type UDF
      • Name: Type access_type.

      • Display Name: Type Access Type, then click Add. The display name appears below the text field.

      • Type: Select Text.

      • Hide From Search: Leave blank.

      • Require Value: Leave blank.

      Under Pre-Defined Values, enter Read-Only.
      Note: This value can only be set to Read-Only or Read-Write.
