The License Provisioning tab allows administrators (that is, admin
users) to add, view, and update the license key that is used to activate Quick Service.
Licenses are automatically validated on startup and at regular intervals to ensure
authenticity and compliance.
The UI displays a notification banner at the top of each page for both
admin and non-admin users when the license is
missing, expiring in 30 days, and after it has expired. This banner is persistent until
it is closed, or a valid license is provided. For admin users, the
banner contains the Update license option, enabling them to
directly update the license. For non-admin users, the banner notifies
them to contact their administrator.
Admin users can use this tab to:
-
Verify whether the application is operating under an active license.
-
Update the license key when a renewal or new entitlement is issued.
-
Monitor the number of days remaining before license expiry.
The License provisioning table displays the following details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| License key | Displays the license key. |
| Status | Displays the current state of the license:
|
| Expires in | Displays the number of days after which the currently active
license expires. Note: This field will display
0 days on the last day the license is active, after
which this field will display negative values (such as
-1, -2, and so on) denoting the number of days
past the expiration date.
