To ensure that all Quick Service features work correctly while maintaining a high level
of security, administrators must set up credentials for the system user
in the Quick Service application. This is the same system user that was
previously created in Address Manager; see Creating Quick Service Users for details.
These credentials are used to invoke Address Manager API endpoints that require administrative privileges. Currently, administrative privileges are required for the Transactions page.
- Log in to the BlueCat Gateway instance using the Quick Service
AdminUser credentials. - Under Workflows, select quick_service, to open the Quick Service application.
- Click the
user profile icon (located in the top-right corner), then select Settings.
- Select the Setup system user tab.
- In the Username and Password
fields, enter the credentials for the
systemuser created in Address Manager. - Select Update credentials. The
systemuser credentials are updated in the Quick Service database.Note: Updatingsystemuser credentials in Quick Service does not affect the credentials in Address Manager.
