Users in user groups with the Read-Write permission can view, add, and update values displayed in the Zones tab. Users in user groups with the Read-only permission can only view the values.
Users in user group with restricted configurations, views, zones, or networks are not able to view those objects in the Quick Service UI. For more information, refer to Settings page.

| Configuration and View |
Default: Displays the Configuration and View as configured in BlueCat Address Manager (BAM). To change the Configuration and View, select the required option from the Configuration and View drop down lists, respectively. |
| Zone Tree |
Default: This section displays the available zones in a collapsed tree view. Click the expand icon to expand the tree. The selected branch of the tree expands. To view the details of a particular zone, you can select the zone from the tree view. Alternatively, enter the zone or subzone name in the Search zones search box and press Enter. |
| Details | Displays the name of the selected zone in the tree view. You can also view the number of records grouped by type created for the selected zone in the Metrics tab. If the user is part of a group with Read-Write permissions, the Edit Zone button is available. Click Edit Zone to display a pop-up that allows you to edit the zone. If the selected zone is a TLD, the Edit Zone option will not be available. If a user makes changes to a zone that is approval managed, an approval request is created per individual action (add, edit, delete) and displayed in the Approval lifecycle table. The changes are applied to the zone only after an administrator or approver approves the corresponding request. |
