If needed, General roles can be excluded from access to the single object.
Note: Specific roles
cannot be excluded, because they’re set on single objects. Excluding roles is
available for managing (restricting) object access on a case-by-case basis for
General roles.
To exclude a role from accessing a specific object:
- Open either the DNS, IPAM, or Admin page and select the object in the data grid.
- Use either the Action or Row ... menu to select Manage access.
- In the dialog, select the General
role you want to exclude and use the Row ... menu
to select Exclude.
- Select Save.
The excluded role will still be displayed in the list, but will be grayed out and struck through.
