In Micetro, you can set permissions for different roles to define what they can or cannot access.

Note: Permissions for built-in-roles cannot be modified.

To set permissions for a role:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Configuration and select Roles in the left sidebar.
  2. In the data grid, select the role you want to edit and use Action or Row ... menu to select Edit role properties.
Note: You can only edit permissions for one role at a time.
  3. On the Access tab, edit the permissions as needed by checking or unchecking the checkboxes.

To avoid access issues, when you add a permission, Micetro automatically enables all related dependent permissions.

Disabling permissions does not disable the dependent permissions that were automatically enabled. However, disabling the dependent permissions will not prevent you from saving the role.

  4. Select Save.
