Set the default IPv4 or IPv6 gateway. You should always set the default gateway after modifying the IP address assigned to the services interface (eth0, vlan-interface, bond0) or the management interface (eth2; only if Dedicated Management is enabled).

To set the default IPv4/IPv6 gateway:

  1. From Main Session mode, type configure network and press ENTER. 
    Proteus> configure network

  2. Run the set default gateway command. Do not type a netmask after the IP address. 
    Proteus:configure:network> set default-gateway <ipv4address|ipv6address>

  3. Save your changes. 
    Proteus:configure:network> save
