To add Sub-Pools
- Log in to your Cisco DNA Center instance.
- In the menu, select .
- In the Network Settings page, select the IP Address Pools tab.
- Within the IP Address Pools table, click Reserve.
- In the Reserve IP Pool window, enter the following
information:
- IP Pool Name—enter the name of the Sub-Pool.
- Type—select Generic.
- IP Address Space—select IPv4 to add an IPv4 Sub-Pool.
- IPv4—select the IP address and name of the parent IP Pool that the Sub-Pool becomes a child of.
- Prefix length—select the prefix length of the IP Pool.
- IPv4 Subnet—enter the IP address of the Sub-Pool.
- Gateway IP Address—enter the default gateway IP address of the Sub-Pool.
- DHCP Server(s)—enter the IP address of the DNS/DHCP Servers that you would like to assign DHCP roles.
- DNS Server(s)—enter the IP address of the DNS/DHCP Servers that you would like to assign DNS roles.
- Click Save to add the new Sub-Pool.
Verifying that the Sub-Pool has been added to Address Manager
- Log in to your Address Manager instance.
- Select the IP Space tab.
- Under IPv4 Blocks, click the name of the parent IP address pool that the Sub-Pool was created under.
- Verify that the Sub-Pool was created under the parent IP address pool.
