Configure DNS/DHCP Servers to communicate with DRP.
For DRP to communicate with DNS/DHCP Servers and update the information on known clients, DNS/DHCP Servers must be provisioned with mandatory configurations. Configurations that you must set on DNS/DHCP Servers vary depending on the version of your DNS/DHCP Server software.
DNS/DHCP Servers come with predefined username portal and other mandatory settings. You only need to set the password for the portal user.
Note: DRP requires SSH access to managed DNS/DHCP Servers to obtain MAC addresses of connected
devices through inspection of the DHCP lease files.
