Create MAC pools to control which devices are allowed to receive IP addresses from different types of DHCP ranges.
You need to create the following required MAC pools:
- Registered-MAC-Pool
- Unregistered-MAC-Pool
Note: When creating a MAC pool, select the Enable Instant Deployment for
changes to this MAC Pool checkbox and add a primary DHCP deployment role to
the MAC pool to deploy changes to Address Manager instantly.
Optionally, if you wish to enable the Guest Registration and Blocklist
features, you also need to create the following additional MAC pools:
- Guest-MAC-Pool
- Blocklist-MAC-Pool
