The Portal Host and Port are used by DNS/DHCP servers to connect with BlueCat Server Update Services (BSUS) for acquiring staging files and Customization packages. When you upload patch files from BSUS to a batch of DNS/DHCP servers, those servers connect to BSUS through this address.
By default, this address is set by the BSUS_IP setting in the .env file when installing BSUS. (For more details, see Installing BlueCat Server Update Services.)
To change the Portal Host and Port:
Click the Administration tab, then click Portal Host and Port
- Enter the following:
In Portal Server URL, enter the IP address or URL.
BSUS works only with HTTPS addresses. Enter the URL without the protocol, such as
bsus.example.org
or10.0.0.1
.In Port, enter the port to use for BSUS communications.
To test the URL, click the Test button.
When you're done, click Update.
