To access BGP Telnet configuration:

  1. Log in to the DNS/DHCP Server Administration Console via SSH and the root account.
  2. Enter either of the following:
    • BGP
      telnet 127.0.0.1 2605
    • Zebra
      telnet 127.0.0.1 2601
  3. At the User Access Verification prompt, enter either of the following:
    • BGP—enter the BGP CLI password set in the Address Manager user interface and press ENTER. For more information on the default BGP CLI password, refer to BlueCat default login credentials (you must be authenticated to view this topic).
    • Zebra—enter the zebra CLI password and press ENTER. For more information on the default zebra password, refer to BlueCat default login credentials (you must be authenticated to view this topic).

The Adonis_hostname> prompt appears upon successful login, indicating you have access to the command line interface but don't yet have administrative privileges.

  4. Type enable and press ENTER.
  5. At the prompt, enter either of the following:
    • BGP—re-enter your BGP CLI password and press ENTER. For more information on the default BGP CLI password, refer to BlueCat default login credentials (you must be authenticated to view this topic).
    • Zebra—re-enter the zebra CLI password and press ENTER. For more information on the default zebra password, refer to BlueCat default login credentials (you must be authenticated to view this topic).
