Synchronize changes made to the F5 configuration with Address Manager.
If you have made any modifications to LTM servers, BIG-IP DNS Servers, or pools on the F5 management interface, such as changing the association between a Virtual Server and cache type, you can automatically synchronize those changes with Address Manager from the Details page of the respective LTM or BIG-IP DNS Server.
To automatically synchronize Address Manager with the F5 configuration:
- From the configuration drop-down menu, select a configuration.
- Select the Servers tab. Tabs remember the page you last worked on, so select the tab again to ensure you're on the Configuration information page.
- Under Servers, click an LTM server or BIG-IP DNS Server name.
- Click the server name menu button and select Auto Sync F5 Configuration.
Address Manager synchronizes with the F5 configuration for the selected LTM or BIG-IP DNS Server. Repeat the procedure for additional LTM or BIG-IP DNS Servers as needed.
If Address Manager can't synchronize with the F5 configuration (for example, due to a network connectivity issue), an event log will be added as "Failed to Auto Sync F5-BDDS links for <Local Traffic manager / BIG-IP DNS>: <LTMserver-name / BIG-IP DNS entity> ". Detailed error messages will be logged into server logs.
