Add a bonding interface to support network redundancy through port bonding.

Configuring a bonding interface from the DNS/DHCP Administration Console is recommended for customers using port bonding with VLAN Tagging. This operation will disconnect SSH connections.

To add a bonding interface:

  1. From Main Session mode, type configure interfaces and press ENTER.
  2. Type add bonding-interface and press ENTER.
  3. Type set bond-mode <active-active/active-backup> and press ENTER.
  4. Type save and press ENTER. The Administration Console saves your settings.
  5. Type show and press ENTER to verify bonding interface details. 
    Adonis> configure interfaces
Adonis:configure:interfaces> add bonding-interface
Adonis:configure:interface:bond0> set bond-mode active-backup
Adonis:configure:interface:bond0> save
This operation will disconnect SSH connections
Adonis:configure:interface:bond0> show
bond0:
     IPv4 Addresses
         192.168.0.2/24 (Primary)
     Active: on
     Bond Mode = active-backup
