By convention the host name for the Address Manager server and the DNS/DHCP Server is a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).
Note: You can't change the host name of DNS/DHCP Server appliances that are part of a functioning xHA pair. Ensure you
have properly configured hostname and other system settings before creating an xHA
pair.
To set the host name:
- From Main Session mode, type configure system and press ENTER.
- Type set hostname <hostname.example.com> and press ENTER.
- Type save and press ENTER. The Administration Console saves your settings.
