Before enabling SSO, BlueCat recommends testing the SSO connection to ensure
connectivity between BAM and the IdP.

In the SAML IdP Configuration tab, click Test
SSO Log in. If the test login fails, check the user and group
details on the IdP and verify that the user and group belong to an SSO Group in
Address Manager.

In the Sign In window, enter the username and password
of a SSO user, then click Sign in.
If the SSO connection is successful, you will see a green circle to the
left of the Test SSO Log in button. If the connection
fails, make sure you have opened port 443 and double check the accuracy of the
IdP metadata.
